Gulmi, (RSS) — The third Gulmi Mahotsav organized aiming at promoting trade of agriculture, tourism and industry concluded on Monday.

The 16-day-long event was organized in the district headquarters of Tamghas by Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

In the fair, traditional agricultural inputs were kept for exhibition with top priority.
The organizer said that around 100,000 persons visited the fair and transaction worth 60 million rupees was recorded.

Likewise, the traditional costumes, arts, cultures, music, and others were also performed in the fair, Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industries said.

Chairman of Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industries Durga Prasad Pandey said that the festival has helped develop the district a tourist destination through the promotion and publicity of historical, religious and tourist sites in the district.

It is said that 40 per cent of the revenue collected from the festival would be spent in the social sector.
