POKHARA — 18th Men’s and 9th Women’s National Handball Championship under National Sports Council Cup is going to be held at Pokhara Stadium from January 1-4.
At a news conference organized here today, Central Chairperson of Nepal Handball Association, Tej Gurung, said that male and female teams from all five development regions, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army would participate in the Championship.
District Handball Association, Kaski, is organizing the Championship under auspicious of Nepal Handball Association where Hong Kong Beauty Institute is the main sponsor.
First, second and third winner teams would bag Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively along with trophy, medal and certificate.
Chairperson Gurung said that the best players would be selected for 13th South Asian Games (SAG) from this Championship. 13th SAG is scheduled in Nepal in 2019. RSS
