Damaru ko Dandibiyo, a new feature film starring Khagendra Lamichhane and Arun Baral in the leads is one of the most awaited movies of 2075. The movie is set to hit theatres on May 4 (21 Baisakh 2075), directed by Chetan Gurung, which will be his directorial debut. The movie is about Nepal’s unofficial National Game, Dandi Biyo.
2. Sunkesari (Drama/Horror)
One of the talented actors in the industry, Reecha Sharma is finally back with another most anticipated movie, Sunkesari. By now, you all might have enjoyed the bone-chilling teasers and trailers of the movie. Directed by Arpan Thapa, the story of movie surrounds the supernatural activities happening in an old Australian palace turned boutique hotel.
3. Dipendra Sarkar (Biography/ Romance)
There are Nepali movies, countable only on fingers based on royal history and family. And the movie Dipendra Sarkar is one such movie that we’ve all been craving to watch this year. Award-winning actor Pradeep Khadka will be seen portraying the role of late Prince Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah and the story also revolves around the concealed Durbar Massacre Mystery. The movie stars actress Shristi Shrestha and music director Naren Limbu who stars as the lead actor in the movie, making it his debut as an actor. The movie will feature the ongoing trend of Nepalese youths flying abroad and overseas to make career along with struggles and the impact of alcohol and drug abuse.
