Waling, Syangja, — An elderly has found a revolving fund of Rs 100,000 for the cause of health care of senior citizens in Syangja district.

Jaya Ballav Tiwari of Mirdi at Waling Municipality-6 in the district donated the amount to set up the fund in Shiva Parbati Elderly Home.

Chairperson of Shiva Parbati Elderly Home and Multipurpose Organization Kabita Ghaire said that the fund would be used for the health care of the senior citizens.

“Being myself an elderly, I have well understood the problems elderly facing. I will take further decisions if there are plans for the health care of the aged people,” Tiwari said. Currently, 73 senior citizens are taking shelter in Ramdi, Ramnadi Dham, the bordering area of Syangja and Palpa districts.

Meanwhile, Bal Prasad Shrestha of Waling Municipality-8 provided Rs 105,000 in cash on Tuesday to provide food to the people taking shelter in the elderly home.
