Kathmandu, (RSS) — All Nepal National Free Student Union, close to the CPN (UML), is to launch Student Enrollment Campaign the at community school.

ANNFSU General Secretary Ain Mahar said that they are going to launch the campaign from April 18-28 to help the campaign launched by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The eight-member committee has been formed under the coordination of ANNFSU Vice-Chairperson Sunita Baral to launch the campaign.

The government has already launched student enrolment campaign under the slogan ‘Our collective desire: compulsory and free basic education’ from April 14 to enroll the children, who are out of school.

All members of ANNFSU central committee, provincial committees, district committees and university committees across the nation should compulsorily enroll at least a student at community school under the campaign, said Mahar.

Around 2.8 per cent students are still out of school in primary -level and 7.7 per cent in basic-level.
