KATHMANDU — In view of the potential of women’s cricket in Nepal, increasing popularity at the international level and contribution to the development and promotion of this game, the recently concluded 9th National Sports Day, Bagmati Pradesh Women’s Cricket Team, in view of the excellent performance of Pradesh Sports Development Council, Bagmati Pradesh, Pulsar Cricket Excellence Center and Bagmati Pradesh Cricket Sangh has organized a joint program “Bagmati Province Invitational Series 2022”.
Asia’s first and nearly century-old history Bokeo Hong Kong Cricket Club has invited women’s team to participate in the 9th National Sports Games bronze medal winning team. The said invitee, Hong Kong women’s national cricket team captain Kyrie Chen, along with other 6 players, have represented Hong Kong women’s team at the international level.
A total of 4 matches friendly series will be played at Lower Mulpani Sports Ground, while the series will be two T20 and two 40-over matches.
