Veteran director of Bollywood, Subhash Ghai who’s known for unconventional movies, most of which are blockbusters is currently in Nepal. He is visiting Nepal along with the faculty members of Whistling Wood International, an institution of Film, Communication and Creative Arts in Mumbai. Mr. Ghai is the chairman and founder of the institution.
During his stay in Kathmandu, he met the members and students of Kantipur Film Academy. On June 3, the one-day seminar was launched that took place from 9 am to 6 pm at Hotel Annapurna, Durbarmarg. The main objective of his visit was to share his experience and knowledge and to educate the students of Nepal in the field of Media and Entertainment. The director was also accompanied by noted Bollywood personalities including fashion designer Nisha Chand, filmmaker Rabiya Naajki, scriptwriter Anjum Rajabali and Nepali director, Dinesh DC.
Mr. Ghai was also seen spending time with famous artists and media personalities of Nepal. Binod Chowdhary and his family organized a grand musical party in his palatial house in Kathmandu which he posted on his official Instagram.
Subhai Ghai is one of the most prominent and successful directors of Bollywood who has directed super hit movies such as Ram Lakhan, Taal, Hero, Khalnayak, Pardes etc. He even launched actress Manisha Koirala in his movie, Saudagar, in 1991.
