BIRATNAGAR — The Central Region has clinched the first position in the 10th National Soft Tennis Championship, winning three gold, two silver and three bronze medals. The championship that started on January 18 concluded here on Monday.

Similarly, the Eastern Region claimed the second position with three gold and one silver medal while the Mid-western Region came in the third position winning a silver and two bronze medals.

Eighty-two players from the Eastern Region, Central Region, Western Region, Mid-western Region, Far-western Region and the Armed Police Force teams had participated in the championship. The championship was organised by the Morang District Soft Tennis Association.

President of the Eastern Region Sports Development Committee, Rabin Nagarkoti handed the prizes and certificates to the winners. RSS
