Achham, (RSS) — Here is good news for those wishing to take an experience of river adventure. Commercial rafting has formally started in the Budhiganga River of Achham district. Masto Outdoor Company, Kathmandu has started offering rafting trips from Sanfe to Jimradi of Chitre, the religious site in the district.

The company had conducted a feasibility study to this regard a year ago, and with the success of the study, it has formally launched the trip from the Nepali New Year 2075 BS, company chair Ramesh Kunwar said.

We welcome any individual and both large and small groups to enjoy water adventure services available in the Budhigandaki, he said. Rafting on around 13-kilometer area for per head is Rs 1,500 each time while the special discount is offered for groups.

The company hopes that the operation of rafting here would help promote internal tourism, establishing the Jimradi as the attractive religious tourist hub.
