BHAKTAPUR — CPN (UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal said the recent delineation of the electoral constituency was not appropriate.

At a press conference organized here today by Press Chautary Nepal, Chitwan Chapter, he accused the Constituency Delineation Commission (CDC) of working under political influence while delimiting the electoral constituencies.

“The CDC should keep into consideration the population, geography, convenience, voters, proximity, access and ethnic diversity while demarcating constituencies but these aspects were overlooked in some cases”, leader Nepal added.

Leader Nepal, also the former Prime Minister, said the obstruction caused to the peaceful programme of the CPN-UML was an outcome of deficit political culture. RSS
