KATHMANDU — The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal is to join the KP Sharma Oli-led government. The two-point agreement reached between the Communist Party of Nepal and Socialist Forum at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar today paved the way for the Forum’s participation in the government.

According to the PM’s Personal Secretariat, two chairpersons of the CPN — KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ – and Forum Chairman Upendra Yadav signed the agreement.

As per the agreement, the demands raised by the Forum during its agitation as well as issues related to constitution amendment would be addressed on the basis of mutual understanding.
