Melamchi, (RSS) — Four people were killed in two separate accidents involving a jeep and a passenger bus in Sindhupalchok district.

Three people including the driver died when a Bolero jeep fell some 300 metres from the road at Jhilke Mod at Jyamire Pipaltar in Melamchi Municipality-9. The jeep (Ba 18 Pa 4699) was carrying bricks and going towards Ratmate from Melamchi when it met with the accident at 8 pm on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as the jeep driver, 35-year-old Suresh Tamang, 42-year-old Moti Adhikari and 12-year-old Kamal Syangbo of Jyamire, Melamchi Municipality-9. They died on the spot, police said.
Similarly, Mahendra Bhujel of Bandegaon, Indrawati Rural Municipality-3 was killed when a passenger bus met with an accident at Timbu of Helambu Rural Municipality at 10 pm on Sunday. Bhujel was the assistant to the bus driver.

The bus (Ba 2 Kha 6365 ) was heading towards Timbu from Kathmandu.
