KATHMANDU — A one-day Kathmandu Kings XI Talent Hunt cricket selection camp is set to kick off at Oasis Cricket Academy in Kumarigal on Saturday for the upcoming Everest Premier League (EPL) T20.

Organized by Kathmandu Kings XI, the camp is being organized for boys and girls aged above thirteen years old.

COO Raj Jung Thapa of Kathmandu Kings XI said, “Ace cricketer Kevin O’Brien and Nepali rising sensation Sompal Kami will mentor the cricketers, while the director Binod Das will also look after the camp. This will surely help them to learn and make a more positive step to cricket they are playing”.

Kathmandu Kings XI has already roped in Sikandar Raza and Rohan Mustafa for the upcoming EPLT20 edition.

“I think this is the first time in Nepal that we have opened the talent hunt for both male and female. I hope this positive step will spark a new idea to other franchises and help woman cricket as well. We have to give a chance to the next generation of players both male and female,” Mr. Thapa said.
