Brandon Reynolds, otherwise known by his Instagram name BrandonShredded, is a 30-year old fitness influencer, bodybuilder, and owner of Limitless Supps, a popular health supplement brand. But success didn’t come easily to Brandon and he has had a tough journey to where he stands today.
Early life
Born in Chicago, Brandon grew up like any other American child. While growing up, he was always inspired by his father who was a businessman himself. But as luck would have it, Brandon lost his father when he turned 18. The loss of his only inspiration and life idol drove him into severe trauma, which he found hard to deal with and went into severe depression. While battling with the mental state he pursued professional training in nursing from a local community college. On being certified, Brandon joined the local hospital where we worked as a nurse, followed by a similar job at the Veteran’s home. He had hoped that serving people and caregiving will help him get out of depression. But even after five years of working in this field, he was not successful in dealing with his mental health.
That was when he realized the importance of fitness and dedicated himself to taking care of his body. It was more of an escape mechanism to distract himself from his existing mental state. Until then he had never worked out, nor did he know anything about bodybuilding or fitness regime. It started as a distraction from his thoughts of the past but soon became a passion. Brandon realized that he aspired to be a bodybuilder. He left Chicago and moved to Arizona to start his life afresh. He started putting in long hours for workouts and transforming his physique completely.
Rise of Brandon Shredded
To assess his skills he started participating in local bodybuilding shows and events. At this time, social media was growing and Brandon resorted to Instagram only to promote his shows and regular fitness updates. Little did he know that something that started as self-promotion would make him into a social brand! Soon, his followers, fitness enthusiasts, and aspiring bodybuilders started to notice his dedication and found inspiration in his techniques. He was no longer a young, depressed man from Chicago but a social media star of fitness and bodybuilding.
Brandon leveraged the power of social marketing and used content that soon became trending. By regularly posting on his fitness routines, diet plans, and bodybuilding techniques used the opportunity of social exposure to position himself as an influencer.
