KATHMANDU — 21-year-old Manish Bhujel, a Kaski Pokhara Metropolitan City-19 Puranchaur resident, was arrested by the police on Monday on the charge of exploiting and abusing a minor online.

Bhujel showed various temptations during the conversation with the minor victim through social networks Snapchat and Viber, made obscene conversations and video chats, and recorded the screen of the act, when the victim refused to do such unwanted actions, he sent threatening messages and also made various unrestrained messages to the victim’s mother. After it came to light that he caused unnecessary mental stress, grief, harassment, and humiliation to the minor and character assassination, the police deployed from Nepal Police Headquarters Cyber Bureau arrested him from Kaski Pokhara with the help of District Police Office Kaski.

The police are conducting the necessary investigation after extending the deadline by 5 days from the District Court Kathmandu.
