KATHMANDU — In a press statement released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) states that Nepal Cricket’s readmission to the global cricketing body will have to wait until June. The ICC has responded positively after its delegation returned from Nepal, holding key meetings with Nepal Advisory Group.
The delegation team was led by ICC Deputy Chairman Imran Khwaja and he’s highly optimistic about Nepal’s ICC membership to be reactivated.
William Glenwright, ICC’s Global Development Head tweeted:
Positive meetings in Nepal this week as we continue to work towards Nepal’s reinstatement to membership of the ICC – but still a lot of work to do. https://t.co/ehHD56q9Te

ICC has given a set of timelines for Nepal to fulfill it. If that doesn’t happen then Nepal Cricket’s ICC membership might hit a dead end in June.
