KATHMANDU — The Lalitpur Police has started searching for the unused cylinders in the district.

Police spokesperson SP Prajwal Maharjan said that 159 items were collected from different places in the district on Thursday.

Unused cylinders have been collected and handed over to the much needed hospitals.

Similarly, the current condition of oxygen plants in the district and details of oxygen cylinders not in rotation of industrialists have also been demanded.

Police have also stated that they are searching for the stock and dumped cylinders.

Out of the collected cylinders, 50 units have been handed over to Patan Hospital, 30 units to Kist Medical College, 10 units to Vayodha Hospital, and 15 units to Alka Hospital, Jawalakhel.
