Born on December 3, 1990 in Dhangadhi, Kailali to Vuva Ganga Dhar Adhikari and mother Manukumari Adhikari, Adhikari has so far performed in about 400 songs. Sushma, who received her primary education from Panchodaya High School, Dhangadhi, has studied at Kathmandu University till graduation.
