Nepal’s Communications Minister, Gokul Prasad Devkota, has shut down the ‘Sidha Prashna’ program which was running for almost twelve years after a live program spat with the host Raju Thapa.
The state-owned Nepal Television’s program was deliberately shut down after the host Thapa cross-questioned if the Minister Devkota had taken gold as a dowry. The minister refuted the host’s claims that he had received but not all that was mentioned in the released property details.
