Nawalparasi (RSS) — New shelters have been constructed and handed over to 10 disadvantaged families in the Musahar settlement in Bardaghat Municipality.

The houses have been constructed with the financial support of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA)’s Bharatpur-Bardaghat 220 KVA transmission line. The beneficiaries include the transmission line extension project affected families living at local Jeetpur, Dandakhola.

Municipality mayor Dheeraj Sharma Basyal said the shelters were constructed at a cost of Rs 3 million. The SK Construction Service built the houses. Three community toilets and three taps have also been constructed in the settlement.

Sixty persons of 10 Mushahar families have benefitted from this construction.
