KATHMANDU — Canadian Peter Dalglish’s court hearing has been postponed due to the unavailability of a Nepal government certified translator.

Talking to Kathmandu Tribune, Arjun Adhikari, the Kavre court judge, said, “We do not have a translator as of now. Once we get one the court hearing will proceed.”

An official from the court, holding the files submitted by CIB Nepal said, “This is a rape case so public aren’t allowed to attend the hearing. However, only lawyers and relatives of Mr. Dalglish will be allowed to be in the court.”

The court hearing will likely happen later this evening or tomorrow at the earliest.

Dalglish refused to talk to Kathmandu Tribune. He was arrested on April 8th in a pedophila case.
