Lahan — Police took under control a vehicle laden with banned chicken from Bariyarpatti of Siraha last night while being illegally imported to Nepal from India.
Police took control the pick-up van (Sa 1 Cha 1357) and chickens being imported to Nepal.
Sub Inspector at Area police Office, Baryarpatti, Shiva Narayan Yadav informed that the police squad recovered 410 banned chickens from the van while undertaking security screening at Bariyarpatti Rurall Municipality-3, Darhiya.
Van driver Rajesh Kumar Lama of Golbazaar municipality-6 of Siraha was sent to District Customs office, Khairatoka Madar for necessary action.
