KATHMANDU — Senior musician and singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan has passed away. He died at the Basundhara-based Neuro Hospital around 1:45 morning on Thursday. He was rushed to the hospital in the morning with difficulty breathing and chest problems. His son’s friend Sabin Shrestha said that he died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

“She was rushed to the hospital in the morning, where she was pronounced dead at the scene. Shrestha said that even the corona report was negative.

Born in 1994 BS in Chautara of Sindhupalchok district to father Ratnadhoj Pradhan and mother Pranadevi Pradhan, there was a musical atmosphere in his home. His great-grandfather Narayan Krishna Pradhan and grandfather Uttardhwaj Pradhan were deeply interested in classical music.

There were daily musical programs in his house. Due to this effect, his interest in music has also increased. Pradhan, who was once known as a very famous and stylish singer, still has many hit songs like ‘Ghumtima Naau Hai’, ‘Timilai Achel Kahan Dekhun’, ‘Gorento Yo Gaonko’, ‘Par Laijau Phulharu’.
