The 11th NEFTA Film Awards will take place in Texas, USA.
According to a press statement released by the sponsoring group Film Technical Association, the prize will be presented on May 13th (May 27, 2023). For the fifth time, Nefta, which has previously been recognized in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Qatar, and Dubai, will organize a program in a foreign country. The prize will be awarded in America, according to the association’s president, Pushkar Lama, with the goal of boosting the international market for Nepali films. NEFTA is cooperating with groups such as Fem Nepal, Aryan Films, and US Khabar on the American version of the award.
The award ceremony was postponed from last year because to the corona pandemic. However, NEFTA will host a show following the conclusion of the pandemic and the return to normalcy in the film business.In this series, movies that came out in 2079 will compete. The jury will view the movie in Baisakh in preparation for the prize, which will be given out in 42 categories.
