Charikot, Dolakha, (RSS) — Two people were killed when a Ramechhap-bound motorcycle (Ba 92 Pa 7214) skidded off the road and fell approximately 150 meters down at a turning at Majhigaun of Tamakoshi Rural Municipality-1, Dolakha, on Saturday night. Over-speeding is to blame for the accident.

The deceased has been identified as motorcyclist Sagar Shrestha, 18, of Manthali Municipality-1, Ramechhap, and pillion rider Raj Kumar Moktan, 25, of Sangachokgadhi Municipality-2, Sindhuplachok. They died on the spot.

They were returning home after celebrating the Nepali New Year at Shailung Rural Municipality in Dolakha, the police said.
