SAN FRANSISCO, USA — Cinco De Mayo was celebrated in the city of San Francisco along with many other cities of United States of America. Cinco De Mayo Festival was held on Valencia street throughout the day and ended around 6 p.m. local time.

Cinco de Mayo which means ‘May 5’ in Spanish is celebrated to commemorate the victory of the Mexican army over French on May 5, 1862, at the battle of Puebla.

The street festival which was held in Valencia street included cultural shows, concerts, foods, and drinks. There were many people dancing and enjoying the music played by various bands on different parts of the streets. Along with the Mexicans, many other tourists and people from different ethnic background attended the free event.
