Lex Limbu is a popular Nepali blogger, travel enthusiast and entrepreneur. Lex runs a blog, lexlimbu.com, and a startup called ‘Tracing Nepal’.

Lex writes on Nepal and other issues. He recently released a video about his coming out of the closet.

Here are five facts about Lex that you didn’t know about:

1. He loves going clubbing with his friends, whether in a large group or just with another person. In the UK, one has to be 18 and have a valid ID to start going out to bars and clubs but Lex used to borrow his cousins’ ID to go to parties and clubs before reaching 18. He goes there to dance with his friends and to have fun and he kept thinking that he’d get bored after reaching a certain age but now he gets even more excited to go out.

2. He loves junk-food! From burgers, fries, pizzas — he’s hooked on junk food and when he sees advertisements of McDonalds and KFC’s, he cannot help but make an excuse to try out their latest item. He has always been keen on fast-food ever since he was young and unfortunately, he was quite heavy as a child. But we wonder how he’s so fit now! We need that secret tips, Lex!

3. Lex is a fan of reading non-fiction books. From reading about life, spirituality to books based on world events, he tries his best to squeeze in a bit of reading every now and then. He has read a number of books on spirituality by Eckhart Tolle and finds himself buying many books by Nepali authors on the country’s development and history.

4. Being a die-hard fan of Britney Spears since the age of 8, he’s been to see her concerts four times in the UK and USA and in November 2017 he decided to take the big step and bought a Meet & Greet experience to meet his biggest inspiration. It was a surreal moment and though he had prepared a lot he froze and was at a loss for words. Lex believed it was the ‘moment’.

5. He’s slightly obsessed with aeroplanes. Whether they are a turboprop plane that is commonly seen in the skies of Nepal or a bigger jet airliner, from an early age he has been hooked on aeroplanes and has enjoyed being on a plane. Lex used to collect airliner magazines and photos of airlines as a child but now he just makes sure that he sees it all on Instagram and watch videos on YouTube of planes taking off and landing.
