a grand old couple living
in poverty and isolation
never thought of
coming Christmas
nor about their
Christmas guests
while passing by their home
a swan saw the old couple
neither in happiness
nor in a festive mood
feeling touched by
their lonesome home
dropped the swan
a little duckling
picking it from
a nearby pond
and, then the swan
didn’t forget to peep down
while passing by
the grand old home
seeing a happy old couple
that brought joys to their home
by rearing the duckling
like their own child
seeing muscular thighs
and protruding breast
in their little kid’s life
as Christmas Eve arrived
the swan thought
to pass by again
by the grand old home
then he saw
a lot of people
gathering in the old age home
the guests and host enjoying
in their dining room
and outside in the home yard
the swan saw few feathers, claws
and beak of that same duck
he had send
in a confusion to transform
into carcasses
being to get dumped
in the nearby pond
or to convert into an angel
to fly in the heaven
