Indian actress Juhi Chawla is in Nepal for an unofficial visit and her recent tweet (with photo) has stirred the people in Kathmandu.
She tweeted:
“While waiting for our cars, in Kathmandu …so much dust, so much traffic, so much diesel and petrol fume in the air, that we had to cover our faces, every day here locals walk around with surgical masks”.
Juhi has noticed locals wearing surgical masks. She has expressed disdain against the pollution (a bitter reality for those living in Kathmandu).

As Nepal is gearing up for Nepal 2020 visit, it is imperative that it clears up the pollution first. The honest tweet by Juhi Chawla is a grim picture of Kathmandu and it certainly doesn’t send a positive message to potential visitors from India and other countries.
