On June 30, White Rabbit Restaurant, Halchowk hosted Dream Fragments: Anita Limbu Moktan’s Art Exhibition and Book Sale. The event was supported by White Rabbit Restaurant and the Kathmandu Tribune. It started at 10 am and ended at 5 pm.

Senior surrealist artist Shankar Raj Singh Suwal inaugurated the event. He gave an introductory speech to Moktan’s new book: “Reflections in the Mirror of Time”. He congratulated Moktan on the new release and was full of praise about the book and the paintings on display. The launch was followed by book signing and interactive session. The event also featured 35 of her (Moktan’s) paintings which were also for sale. Moktan, who paints in her spare time, informed, ”30 percent of the sales money will go to the children in Dhading. The money will be spent on stationery items.”

Moktan’s “Reflections in the Mirror of Time” is a collection of poems of love, loss, loss of love and memories. The book is available in Sastobook for Rs. 300.
