Kathmandu: KP Khanal, the most youthful activist in Nepal, has been bestowed the Public Service Shri Medal by the President on the inaugural day of the year 2080. Khanal was awarded the Bibhushan by the respected President Ramchandra Paudel at a function held at Shital Niwas, the President’s Residence.

KP Khanal, an ardent environmentalist and sanitation crusader, has been conferred with the prestigious Public Service Shri Medal by President Ramchandra Paudel on New Year’s Day. The announcement of the award was made on the occasion of Constitution Day of 2079. Khanal, who has been a tireless advocate for social causes from a young age, is the founder of the Maina Devi Foundation and has been instrumental in spearheading the Clean Wood Mandap Campaign with the resolute belief that “I will change, and my country will change”.

Presently, KP Khanal is collaborating with a diverse range of sectors and agencies to further his mission in the sphere of environment and sanitation. He is closely associated with numerous affiliated organizations and is dedicatedly working towards promoting sustainability and preserving the natural resources of the country.
