Kathmandu, Nepal – The memoir “Shramatan: A Nepalese Migrant Worker’s Memoir” was officially launched on April 1 at 1 pm at Padma Kanya Multiple Campus in Danish Hall. The launch event featured esteemed speakers Bishwa Prakash Sharma, Shyamal, Yuyutsu Sharma, Saru Joshi Shrestha, and Arun Budhathoki.

The event was organized by White Lotus Book Shop, Kupondole, Lalitpur in collaboration with Nirala Publications, New Delhi. The book is published by Nirala Publications and is authored by B.N. Joshi.

“Shramatan: A Nepalese Migrant Worker’s Memoir” is a powerful and moving account of the experiences of a Nepali migrant worker who travels abroad for employment. The book provides insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by Nepali migrant workers in foreign countries.

Speaking at the launch event, Bishwa Prakash Sharma praised the author for his insightful and eye-opening work. Yuyutsu Sharma also lauded the book for its relevance in the context of Nepal’s growing migrant workforce.
