Oh Lord, Indra!
God of Monsoon

My humble request to you
The protector of lousy season
Ask her soon
To go away from my land
by this noon
Every raindrops
Falling from sky
I feel tear touching my skin
Coming from those eyes
Weeping my sweetheart
From above the sky
I can’t tolerate more
Tear your cloud soon
Tear the curtain of rain
Tear the cloud
Blanket of illusion
I have to see my moon
above my ground
Tear your curtain
Tear very soon
don’t be a curtain
between me and my moon

why thunderbolt often follows rain

as you  walk
in the rainy evening
the thunderbolt strikes
immediately on the sky
just to show your
beautiful footprints
that you have
left them behind
fresh on the mud
before the rain would
sweep it far away
it is why thunderbolt
often follows rain
to show the moon —
that living version of beauty
replica of moon
lives on the earth
wearing atmospheric blanket
hard to penetrate by eyesight
in daylight or moonlight
in the mist.
