KATHMANDU — Nepal has made an entry into the second rounds of the match in the Pembangunan Jaya Raya Badminton Asia Junior Championship, 2017 underway in Indonesia after players Praphul Maharjan and Rukesh Maharjan defeated their rival competitors in today’s match. The tournament is organized by the Badminton Asia.

Praphul thrashed Dina Saom from Cambodia 21-11, 21-8 while Rukesh registered a 21-8, 21-7 win over Mendebyar Batsuk from Mongolia.

In next matches, Praphul will face Phaturaman Fauji from Indonesia and Rukesh will take on Ransindu Hendewa from Sri Lanka, said Secretary of the Nepal Badminton Association Nabin Bikram Shah. RSS
