ITAHARI — The Three Start Club (TSC) has entered into the final of the Madan Bhandari Memorial Itahari Gold Cup Football underway at the local Itahari stadium.
The semi-final match held today went for a tie-breaker after it ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the match, Tribhuvan Army striker Nawayug Shrestha netted a goal in the 25th minute in the first half by utilizing the pass of Bharat Khawas. Likewise, Martins Ajayee of Three Star levelled the score with a goal in the 12th minute of the second half.
In the tie-breaker, TSC scored five goals without missing any strike while only three strikers of Tribhuvan Army netted the goals.
With the win today, TSC will play the winner of the second semi-final taking place between Manang Marsyangdi and Garifa Sporting Club Kolkotta of India being held tomorrow. RSS
