KATHMANDU — Umesh Patwal has been hired for Nepal’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers tournament. Patwal is the second Indian coach from Mumbai to lead Nepal cricket team after Sulakshan Kulkarni’s recent stint for WCL Div-2.
Patwal is also the former coach of Afghanistan cricket team (World Twenty20 in Bangladesh and the Asia Cup in 2014). He will lead the Nepal cricket team next month in Zimbabwe from March 4-25.
