KATHMANDU — Vocational and technical education has been stressed for the country’s development and prosperity.
At a programme organized by Youth Students’ Agitation Committee here on Thursday, participating speakers called for linking the education to production.
Educationist Bidyanath Koirala said as education has been stipulated as one of the fundamental rights in the constitution, it must be made affordable and accessible to all.
Education Ministry’s Joint Secretary Dr Hari Adhikari underlined the government’s huge investment in education sector, but lamented the lack of results.
