JUMLA — The Taxpayers’ Service Office, Jumla, has collected a total of Rs 65.9 million plus in revenue in the last fiscal year.

Acting Chief of the Office Kamalesh Kumar Yadav said that contribution of the income tax with Rs 22 million is the highest in the revenue collection.

Likewise, a total of Rs 12.48 million was collected under the title of the social security tax based on wages, according to Yadav.

Similarly, nearly Rs 11 million was received from the Value Added Tax (VAT) while Rs 3.05 million was contributed from the tax on rental.

However, the total revenue collection was slightly less than the target. However, the revenue collection was more by 15.77 per cent as compared to the previous fiscal year. RSS
