TRISHULI, NUWAKOT — With the monsoon season in full swing, the number of patients visiting the hospitals for fever and typhoid has dramatically soared.

Trishuli District Hospital’s Dr. Rajendra Lama said the patients suffering from viral fever, cough, asthma, and typhoid has increased. The contamination in the drinking water is the prime cause for such diseases, according to the hospital. Around an average of 100 patients visit the hospital on a daily basis. RSS
